Luxury African Safari - Hosted by Shari Tucker
Nov 6 - 18, 2025 & Nov 19 - Dec 1st, 2025 | 12 Night Luxury African Safari
Cape Town, South Africa | Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe | Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe | The Okavango Delta, Botswana
Explore Africa in Luxury on one Unforgettable Adventure.
Starting in iconic Cape Town you'll visit the Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Gardens and the Boulder's Beach African Penguin colony. You'll have the quintessential 'African bush plane' experience when we fly into Hwange National Park for our first safaris. You'll be overcome with emotion when we get up close and personal to your favourite wild animals in their beautiful un-fenced homes, roaming free. Herds of elephant, buffalo, antelope and zebras. Towers of giraffe. Solitary or coupled rhinos. Hippos hiding in the water or sunbathing on the river banks. We'll search for cheetahs, lions and leopards. With a little luck you may be treated to sightings of African Painted Wild Dogs, jackals and small cats like the serval or caracol. And let's not forget the absolutely prolific birdlife. Whether you are a birder or not, you'll be impressed with the variety and beauty throughout these three amazing countries.
You'll share meals with new friends, listen to campfire stories from the staff, take in the enormity of the starry skies from the remote African bush and fall asleep to the sounds of nature.
You'll have a tour and sunset boat cruise to take in the vastness of Victoria Falls before flying off in another bush plane to the Okavango Delta in Botswana where you'll transfer to a boat for a quick trip to your island-lodge. You'll have the opportunity to do land and water safaris, as well as mokoro rides (dugout canoe) where you can get eye level with Botswana's beautiful frogs, see fish jump and relax to the calls of the wild floating through the wind.
Let's not forget the absolute enjoyment of relaxing sunsets over the African bush with a drink in hand and the unique opportunity to experience safaris after dark with nocturnal animals such as bush babies, owls, honey badgers and more!

We have a minimum number of 6 participants and maximum number of 10 participants per group + Shari Tucker, travelling as your host. This small number ensures that you have the personal attention of an expert guide and incredible authentic experiences throughout your trip.
The accommodations on this trip are extremely limited. We are not booking into hotels with 100 rooms. The luxury eco-lodges we are using only have 6 - 12 tents in total. The camps are already starting to book up for 2025, in fact we had to rearrange dates based on their current availability. Small lodges cannot hold group space without a deposit for very long. A hotel with 100 rooms can hold 10 and still have 90 left to sell, but a camp with only 6 tents can't hold those 6 tents with no financial commitment.
Absolutely! Unfortunately we can't assist with booking or managing points flights for you, but if you want to do this yourself, by all means you can.
We will start looking at flight options 6 - 7 months prior to departure.
We have a maximum of two solo rooms available, at an additional single supplement cost. Please inquire for exact rates.
As a solo traveller, should you be interested in sharing a room to lower costs, we will introduce you to other solos who are interested but it is 100% your responsibility to ensure you can room comfortably with one another throughout the trip. There are no options to move you to a solo room once we are in destination as camps and hotels will likely be at capacity.
We recommend all participants arrange a travel health consultation to discuss the itinerary as it relates to your particular health situation. We will provide a discount code for travel health services.
We can confirm that Yellow Fever Vaccine is not required for the areas we will be visiting. The caveat to this is your flight routing. Some countries require you to have a Yellow Fever vaccine if you have come from or connect through a country with Yellow Fever. We will help navigate this for you and ensure your routing is acceptable if you do not have your vaccine.
We will be travelling through the bush with highly trained expert guides, trackers and drivers. Anytime you are in the wild there is an element of risk since you are visiting animals in their un-fenced homes. The camps and lodges are also un-fenced, but are watched closely for animals nearby and passing through. The staff all have many years of education and experience behind them. They will not knowingly put you in an risky situation at any point and will provide instruction on how to stay safe.
Staff take great pride in knowing when wild animals are uncomfortable or when we may be disrupting them, directing us on another route to let them have their peace. We are visitors in their homes. We are there to observe and admire, not disturb or threaten.
I know it may seem difficult, but more or less you will be packing in carry-on luggage. You will need a soft-sided suitcase or duffle bag. Due to storage space and weight restrictions on the bush flights, it is important that your luggage is somewhat flexible. Full details on size and weight restrictions will be provided. Don't forget, you can have laundry done at either of the lodges, if needed.
